Job summary

Global Impact Group LLC is seeking Quichua/Quechua over-the-phone interpreters to support USCIS interviews, hearings, and official proceedings under a federal contract. This remote position requires real-time interpretation, strict confidentiality, and professionalism across immigration, legal, and administrative contexts.

Candidates must be native or near-native in Quichua/Quechua and English, with 2+ years of interpreting experience and familiarity with interpreter ethics. U.S.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Quichua / Quechua Dialects and English.
• 2+ years of professional interpreting experience (immigration, legal, community, or government preferred).
• Familiarity with interpreter ethics, confidentiality, and cultural awareness.
• Strong telephone communication skills; ability to remain accurate under pressure.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 federal clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time Quichua / Quechua Dialects English telephonic interpretation for USCIS interviews, hearings, and official proceedings.
• Interpret with accuracy, impartiality, and professionalism in immigration, legal, and administrative contexts.
• Maintain confidentiality in line with USCIS/DHS interpreter standards.
• Handle both scheduled assignments and urgent/surge calls.
• Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and QA audits.
