Job summary

Global Impact Group LLC is seeking a skilled interpreter to provide real-time Quichua/Quechua to English telephonic interpretation for USCIS interviews, hearings, and official proceedings. The role requires accuracy, impartiality, and strict confidentiality under USCIS/DHS standards.

Candidates should have 2+ years of professional interpreting experience and be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 clearance, with strong telephone communication skills.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Quichua / Quechua Dialects and English.
• 2+ years of professional interpreting experience (immigration, legal, government preferred).
• Familiarity with interpreter ethics, confidentiality, and cultural awareness.
• Strong telephone communication skills; ability to remain accurate under pressure.
• U.S. Citizenship or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 federal clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time Quichua / Quechua to English telephonic interpretation for USCIS interviews, hearings, and official proceedings.
• Interpret with accuracy, impartiality, and professionalism in immigration, legal, and administrative contexts.
• Maintain confidentiality in line with USCIS/DHS interpreter standards.
• Handle both scheduled assignments and urgent/surge calls.
• Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and QA audits.
