Job summary

UChicago Medicine is seeking a Quality Intelligence Specialist to ensure accurate and timely clinical process and outcomes information across medical records and billing systems. You will collaborate with EMR teams, clinicians, and departments to guide quality analytics and reporting to external agencies.

This remote role requires current clinical licensure, a healthcare master’s degree, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

Current clinical license (RN, RPh, etc).
Master’s degree in healthcare (preferred e.g. Nursing Informatics, Public Health).
Patient care experience.
Ability to interpret complex metrics of patient care and their drivers.
Ability to work independently with accuracy and deadlines.
Strong attention to detail, organization, documentation and follow-through.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Support clinical teams regarding documentation and drivers of high-quality patient care.
Collaborate with IS and EMR teams to report data accurately and on time.
Ensure CMS Core Measures and other payer requirements are met.
Validate data used to measure clinical performance.
Communicate performance definitions of national measures to stakeholders.
Other duties as assigned by director.
