Job summary

UnitedHealthcare is seeking a Quality Data Analyst to support Supplemental Data Operations with remote CST or EST hours. You will manage SDS metrics, documentation for HEDIS audits, and ad-hoc reporting while collaborating across teams to improve data quality and reporting accuracy. The role requires strong analytics, SQL, R, Python, and Excel skills, with a focus on healthcare quality improvements.

The position offers remote work within the U.S. and requires EST/CST availability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with data analytics and reporting.
• 3+ years in Healthcare Industry with Quality/Process Improvement and understanding of medical terminology and clinical care.
• 2+ years proficiency with R, Python, SQL, and dashboarding including complex query writing.
• 1+ years of demonstrated success with project management.
• Advanced MS Excel and MS Access skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to analyze problems and devise actions.
• Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to convey complex information.
• Able to work EST/CST schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maintain metrics pertaining to SDS.
• Maintain documentation required to support use of supplemental data for HEDIS auditors and internal requirements.
• Participate in audits as needed.
• Participate in all source validation efforts.
• Audit liaison for SDO; translate requirements into technical specs.
• Develop and produce ad-hoc reports from data sources.
• Stay current with new technology and data sources used by UnitedHealth Group.
