Job summary

Comfrt is seeking a Quality Engineering Manager to own quality strategy across Storefront, Internal Apps, and Mobile apps. You will lead a team of QA engineers, mentor them, and partner with engineering, product, and design leaders to embed quality into planning, development, and releases.

This role requires a strong technical background in TypeScript, Playwright, React, and AWS serverless backends, with hands-on testing, accessibility, and AI-assisted QA.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in Quality Assurance or Software Testing for web, mobile, or digital products.
• 2+ years leading, managing, or mentoring QA engineers.
• Strong technical background with TypeScript and ability to read/write code with engineers.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript test automation.
• Experience with React-based frontends and modern web apps.
• Experience writing and executing API tests (REST/GraphQL).
• Experience with accessibility testing (WCAG 2.2 AA).

Responsibilities

• Define and drive QA strategy across the Storefront, Internal Apps, and Mobile pods.
• Establish quality standards, release readiness criteria, and test coverage expectations.
• Partner with engineering, product, and design leaders to embed quality into planning and releases.
• Define and report quality metrics to guide priorities.
• Manage, coach, and develop QA engineers.
• Mentor the team on test design, automation, accessibility, and AI tools.
• Own test planning, test case, and regression processes across all pods.
