Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines supporting a Federal modernization program.

You will ensure test coverage aligns with contract requirements and acceptance criteria while collaborating with delivery teams. As part of an Agile environment, you will perform functional, integration, performance, and security testing, build test data strategies, mentor junior engineers, and report quality metrics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, engineering or equivalent with 5+ years in QA or test automation.
• 5 years of QA or test automation experience, including Agile teams.
• Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG or similar testing tools.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and defect tracking tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium or Appian-native capabilities.
• Develop and maintain automated regression test suites integrated into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar).
• Create test strategies, test plans, and quality metrics frameworks aligned to contract requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Perform functional, integration, performance, and security testing to validate system behavior and requirements traceability.
• Collaborate with Appian developers and business analysts to implement shift-left testing and define testable acceptance criteria.
• Build and maintain test data management strategies, including synthetic data generation and test environment configuration.
• Monitor quality metrics and provide quality reporting to program leadership.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution; perform root cause analysis and coordinate with technical teams.
• Support UAT by developing test scenarios, coordinating with end users, and validating test results.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote quality engineering best practices across delivery teams.
