Job summary

Buckland is seeking a Quality Control Specialist, Intermediate to join our global trade team. You’ll coordinate and audit entry documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliant data across US customs workflows.

This role emphasizes QA processes, vendor and client document reviews, and partnerships with operations to maintain data integrity. Ideal candidates have at least two years in US customs brokerage, strong MS Office skills, and a proactive attitude toward accuracy and process improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in US Customs brokerage.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in quality control.
• Basic knowledge of HTS classification.
• Intermediate MS Office knowledge.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of customer service to clients, vendors, and service providers in acquiring the proper import documentation.
• Review Certificates of Origin and other documentation to confirm eligibility to Free Trade programs.
• Analyze and update PGA records in entries and database with knowledge of PGA reporting requirements.
• Audit assigned files to ensure accuracy and instructions are followed.
• Work with operations department in maintaining of client database.
• Assist team leader in training of team members as assigned.
• Service clients and reporting of any issues to Team Leader/Supervisor.
• Ensures all shipments are entered in accordance with the US Federal Code of Regulations.
• Support as required in all Departmental Operations.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
