Job summary

Buckland is seeking an Intermediate Quality Control Specialist to coordinate and audit import documentation and ensure data accuracy for US customs entries. You will review certificates, maintain PGA records, and support the operations team while upholding regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in US Customs brokerage.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in quality control.
• Basic knowledge of HTS classification.
• Intermediate MS Office knowledge.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be legally eligible to work for the Company at all times.
• Valid Passport and ability to travel if required to other office locations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and audit documentation on entries.
• Assist and maintain the quality and accuracy of import entries.
• Handle requests for missing information and ensure data accuracy.
• Provide the highest level of customer service to clients, vendors, and service providers in acquiring the proper import documentation.
• Review Certificates of Origin and other documentation to confirm eligibility to Free Trade programs.
• Analyze and update PGA records in entries and database with knowledge of PGA reporting requirements.
• Audit assigned files to ensure accuracy and instructions are followed.
• Work with operations department in maintaining client database.
• Assist team leader in training of team members as assigned.
• Service clients and reporting of any issues to Team Leader/Supervisor.
• Ensure all shipments are entered in accordance with the US Federal Code of Regulations.
• Support as required in all Departmental Operations.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
