Job summary

Buckland in the United States is seeking an Intermediate Quality Control Specialist to coordinate and audit import documentation. You will ensure accuracy of entries, review Certificates of Origin, and help maintain PGA records across the database, working closely with the operations team.

In this role you will handle requests for missing information, support team leaders, and ensure compliance with US Federal Code of Regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in US Customs brokerage.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in quality control.
• Basic knowledge of HTS classification.
• Intermediate MS Office knowledge.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be legally eligible to work for the Company at all times.
• Valid Passport and travel to other offices if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of customer service to clients, vendors, and service providers in acquiring the proper import documentation.
• Review Certificates of Origin and other documentation to confirm eligibility to Free Trade programs.
• Analyze and update PGA records in entries and database with knowledge of PGA reporting requirements.
• Audit assigned files to ensure accuracy and instructions are followed.
• Work with operations department in maintaining of client database.
• Assist team leader in training of team members as assigned.
• Service clients and reporting of any issues to Team Leader/Supervisor.
• Ensures all shipments are entered in accordance with the US Federal Code of Regulations.
• Support as required in all Departmental Operations.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
