Job summary

OmniOn Power Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to audit engineering specs, ensure compliance with customer standards, and maintain Cost of Quality tracking across quotation, engineering, and service execution.

This 100% remote role reports to the Services Quality Leader and collaborates with engineering, program management, and operations to drive corrective actions and improve processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Approximately 5 years in telecom QA including DC power, fiber, PM.
• Ability to interpret customer requirements, standards and contractual deliverables.
• Proficiency with Excel and SharePoint for data analysis and Cost of Quality calculations.
• Experience with ERP/MRP, PLM/PDM, or document control systems.
• Understanding of CoPQ and basic cost accounting concepts.
• Prior participation in internal or customer audits in manufacturing, repair or service environments.
• Auditing certification or training; visa sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Audit engineering specifications for accuracy and completeness; document findings and drive timely closure.
• Audit engineered packages (drawings, BOMs, changes) for compliance with requirements.
• Audit Methods of Procedure and End of Job packages for safe installation and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure version control and alignment between customer requirements, released docs, and service deliverables.
• Track CoPQ metrics and support corrective actions with quotations, engineering and execution teams.
• Prepare audit checklists, gather objective evidence, conduct process interviews and track actions to closure.
• Communicate recurring issues and recommend process improvements.
• Maintain audit records, trackers, and evidence per retention and confidentiality requirements.
