Job summary

OmniOn Power Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to audit engineering specifications and packages, ensuring accuracy and conformance to TL 9000/ISO 9001 standards.

This 100% remote role reports to the Services Quality Leader and supports cost of quality tracking across quotations, engineering, and execution. Ideal candidates have strong Excel/SharePoint skills, experience in telecom or related fields, and the ability to document clear audit evidence while driving corrective actions to

Qualifications

• Completion of high school diploma or GED.
• 5 years of telecom industry requirements including DC power installation/engineering, toll/fiber installation, project management, etc.
• Experience auditing engineering documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Working knowledge of quality management systems and audit practices (TL9000/ISO 9001).
• Ability to interpret customer requirements, standards, and contractual engineering deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Audit engineering specifications for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to customer standards; document findings and drive timely correction/closure.
• Audit engineering packages (drawings, BOMs, build documentation, ECNs/changes, deviations) to verify compliance with customer requirements and internal procedures.
• Audit Methods of Procedure and End of Job packages to ensure safe installation practices and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure version control and configuration alignment between customer requirements, released engineering documentation, and service deliverables.
• Track cost of poor-quality (CoPQ) metrics and communicate to quotations, engineering and execution teams for corrective actions.
• Identify gaps, errors, and nonconformities; initiate corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
