Job summary

OmniOn Power Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to audit engineering specs and packages, ensure compliance, and track cost of quality. This role will report to the Services Quality Leader and be 100% remote.

You will support Method of Procedure reviews, internal surveillance audits, and TL 9000 reporting, while maintaining audit records and collaborating with Engineering, Program Management, and Operations to implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

• 5 years of telecom industry experience including DC power installation/engineering and project management.
• Experience auditing engineering documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Working knowledge of TL9000/ISO 9001 concepts, internal auditing, corrective action.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and SharePoint for tracker maintenance and CoPQ calculations.
• Ability to interpret customer requirements, standards, and contractual engineering deliverables.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Audit engineering specifications for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to customer standards; document findings and drive timely correction/closure.
• Audit engineering packages (drawings, BOMs, build documentation, ECNs/changes, deviations, and supporting records) for compliance with customer requirements and internal procedures.
• Audit Methods of Procedure and End of Job packages to ensure safe installation practices and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure version control and configuration alignment between customer requirements, released engineering documentation, and service deliverables.
• Track cost of poor-quality (CoPQ) metrics and communicate to quotations, engineering and execution teams to drive corrective action.
• Identify gaps, errors, and nonconformities; initiate corrective actions with cross-functional teams to prevent recurrence.
• Support TL 9000 metric collection, validation, and reporting for applicable service categories.
• Prepare audit summaries, trend analyses, and dashboards; communicate recurring issues and recommend process improvements.
• Maintain audit records, trackers, and evidence in accordance with document retention and confidentiality requirements.
