We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate QA Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a QA Analyst, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and evolution of software solutions for our clients.

This remote role welcomes candidates anywhere in Canada and the US. It requires travel up to 10% of the time, including attending 1-2 Annual General Meetings per year and potentially visiting customer sites. A valid passport or visa is necessary for travel to Canada.

What your impact will be :

1. Develop, execute, maintain test cases, test scripts, and test plans based on product requirements.
2. Focus testing efforts considering factors such as risk assessment, priority, and business impacts for the tests designed.
3. Enhance, extend, or design new automated test frameworks for efficiency and repeatability.
4. Conduct functional, regression, integration, performance, exploratory, and user acceptance testing.
5. Document and report defects, providing clear and detailed information.
6. Collaborate with project stakeholders to review and communicate test progress, results, and coverage analysis.
7. Perform regression testing after software updates to ensure existing functionalities are not adversely affected.
8. Participate in the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies, contributing to the overall quality assurance strategy.
9. Innovate in automation, agile, and continuous testing practices by exploring new frameworks/technologies and recommending their use.
10. Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing.

What we are looking for :

1. 3+ years of professional QA Analyst experience.
2. 2+ years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server or similar RDBMS.
3. Experience with manual and automated testing tools, with a focus on automation.
4. Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

What would make you stand out :

1. Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools, with demonstrated experience in test automation.
2. Experience with load and performance testing.
3. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
4. Experience with cloud-based integration platforms like AWS Lambda or Azure Functions.
5. Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Bamboo, Git, and Maven.
6. Experience in test framework design and development.
