Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Quality Assurance Tester/Test Engineer for manual and automated testing across the DoW modernization and cloud migration efforts. This remote role supports Agile, DevSecOps pipelines, and security compliance, ensuring all modules, data migrations, and releases meet RMF/Zero Trust standards.

You will build and execute tests, maintain traceability, and contribute to release testing and documentation with a focus on performance, security, and interoperability with legacy DRAS

Qualifications

• 5 years experience with a BS/BA degree or 3 years with a MS/MA degree.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, and utPLSQL.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred).
• Knowledge of secure coding and security testing tools (Fortify, ACAS, WebInspect).
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (LoadRunner).
• Experience testing APIs, integrations, data migrations, and database-driven applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute unit tests, regression tests, security tests, and acceptance tests for all user stories.
• Manage Requirements Traceability Matrix and write manual/automated test cases.
• Maintain testing tasks for each closed and deployed user story and verify functionality against requirements.
• Build, run, and maintain automated tests within GitLab pipelines using approved tools.
• Ensure automated testing gates are enforced prior to code promotion.
• Support integration testing during Strangler pattern migrations and incremental deployments.
• Perform security testing, static/dynamic scans, and contribute to SCA/EDSCA and FedRAMP efforts.
• Produce test plans, cases, scripts, logs, and metrics; provide testing evidence for ATO packages.
