Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a QA Test Automation Engineer to join a growing healthcare tech team. This full-time role supports remote work across the United States, developing and scaling automated testing across web, mobile, APIs, and cloud-based systems.

You will design testing frameworks, implement end-to-end and API test suites, and collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to improve release confidence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software test automation experience.
• Experience developing UI and end-to-end automated tests.
• Strong API testing experience utilizing REST services and JSON.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of automation frameworks and testing methodologies.
• Experience supporting web and mobile application testing.
• Familiarity with Git-based source control environments.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira or Azure Boards.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated testing frameworks.
• Create end-to-end, integration, and API test suites.
• Develop testing strategies across desktop and mobile environments.
• Partner with engineering, DevOps, and product teams.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD workflows.
• Analyze quality trends and improve release confidence.
• Perform root-cause analysis on intermittent test failures.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives around software quality.
