Job summary

SpinQuest is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation to join our remote US team. This role blends manual testing with automation to safeguard our web and mobile experiences.

You’ll build and maintain automated test suites with Playwright and Maestro, execute API tests, contribute to CI/CD with GitHub Actions, and collaborate with engineering, product, and design to deliver high‑quality releases.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of QA experience with hands-on manual and automated testing.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC/STLC, defect lifecycle, and test planning.
• Working proficiency with at least one automation framework (Playwright strongly preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design and execute functional, regression, integration, API, and end‑to‑end test cases across web and mobile.
• Develop and maintain automated tests using Playwright (web/API) and Maestro (mobile).
• Log clear bugs with repro steps and supporting evidence in Linear/Jira.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design to troubleshoot defects and clarify expected behavior.
• Contribute to CI/CD test execution (GitHub Actions) and expand automated coverage.
