Job summary

Intertek is seeking a QA Specialist to join our People Assurance team in a remote role. The position focuses on ensuring the quality of our courseware related to food safety, workplace safety and human resources training, while driving process improvements.

You will help validate content across media, translate consistency, and maintain training records in the Alchemy Platforms. The role supports PTO coverage and may involve travel up to 5% as needed.

Qualifications

• Some college education or equivalent work experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with desktop computer environments.
• Ability to communicate positively and professionally with all stakeholders.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and deadlines.
• Must be detailed-oriented and able to effectively prioritize and organize workload.
• Must be customer focused and quality driven.
• Ability to travel as business needs dictate - less than 5%.

Responsibilities

• Review all courseware prior to delivery for production-related errors.
• Ensure grammar and spelling are correct.
• Ensure images, text, videos and audio files are in the correct places.
• Ensure translated materials are accurate between text and audio.
• Ensure courses look and sound consistent and professional.
• Ensure each course registers an accurate training record in the Alchemy Platforms.
• Write effective and concise bug tickets describing issues discovered.
• Manage ongoing deadlines and tasks efficiently.
• Research and develop informational PowerPoint presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Able to fill in for the Quality Assurance Specialist for PTO and absences if needed.
• Site and translation glossary maintenance as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
