Job summary

Lirio is seeking a Software QA Lead Engineer to drive quality strategy for its cloud-native platform, UI, and integrations. You will own test strategies, automation, and quality gates across APIs, services, and event-driven workflows in a regulated healthcare-adjacent environment.

You will mentor engineers, design test frameworks, and partner with Engineering, Product, Cloud/SRE, and Customer Operations to ensure reliable, observable, and audit-ready releases.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of related QA/testing experience in software, preferably in cloud-native environments.
• Strong experience with test automation for APIs/services and UI automation.
• Deep knowledge of performance testing, contract testing, and observability tooling.
• Proficiency with CI/CD processes, version control, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Ability to mentor, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive quality across squads.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and execution of comprehensive test strategies across APIs, services, event-driven workflows, and UI surfaces.
• Expand and maintain automated test coverage (unit, integration, contract, end-to-end) while applying selective manual testing.
• Define quality gates in CI/CD and ensure releases are observable and auditable.
• Mentor QA engineers and standardize testing practices across squads to reduce flakiness.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Cloud/SRE, and Customer Operations to ensure quality and release readiness.
