Job summary

Integra Partners is seeking a QA Lead to govern the quality assurance practice across product delivery. You will champion test strategy, automation growth, and regression coverage while coaching the QA team and collaborating with Product Owners and Engineering to embed quality throughout the SDLC.

You will create transparency on test readiness, progress, risks, and blockers, and drive defect triage, metrics, and release readiness with a bias toward early issue escalation and data-driven

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on software quality assurance across functional, integration, regression and end-to-end testing.
• Experience leading QA execution, mentoring testers, or serving as a senior/lead resource for quality outcomes.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery and QA's role through discovery, development, testing, UAT, and release.
• Proven ability to create test strategies and translate complex business workflows into thorough, risk-based test coverage.
• Experience managing defects and facilitating effective triage with Product and Engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to surface concerns early and communicate quality risk to stakeholders.
• Experience testing complex enterprise applications, healthcare tech, claims, payments, or heavy integration workflows.
• Experience with automated API, UI, regression, and integration testing.
• Experience using AI-assisted development or testing tools (e.g., Copilot).
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, test-management tools, CI/CD pipelines, observability platforms, and cloud environments.
• Ability to help a QA organization mature from manual testing toward balanced automation and risk-based quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day QA practice and establish expectations for test planning, execution, documentation, and release readiness.
• Ensure QA work begins as planned; identify and communicate delays, blockers, data needs, or scope gaps.
• Create transparency into what has been tested, remaining test coverage, current defects, risks, and release confidence.
• Coach QA team members on testing discipline, risk-based thinking and ownership of outcomes.
• Develop and maintain test strategies for new features, integrations, defects, and platform changes.
• Partner with Product Owners early in discovery to identify test scenarios, data needs, and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate test data, environments, integrations, and dependencies for QA execution.
• Validate end-to-end critical workflows before business UAT; use risk-based testing when tradeoffs are needed.
• Lead defect triage with Product and Engineering; define severity, priority and ownership.
• Increase automated coverage without brittle automation; leverage AI-assisted tools where appropriate.
• Provide concise status reporting with risks, blockers, decisions, and next actions.
