Job summary

Integra Partners seeks a QA Lead to drive quality across product delivery, making software more testable and releases more reliable. You will lead test planning and execution, strengthen automation, coach QA staff, and collaborate with Product Owners and Engineering to embed quality throughout the SDLC.

You will create visibility into readiness, progress, risks, and blockers, own QA discipline, and escalate issues early to protect release quality.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on software quality assurance experience across functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience leading QA execution, mentoring testers, or serving as a senior/lead resource for quality outcomes.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery and QA’s role through discovery, development, testing, UAT, and release.
• Demonstrated ability to create test strategies and translate complex workflows into thorough risk-based coverage.
• Experience managing defects and facilitating effective triage with Product and Engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to surface concerns early and communicate quality risk clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience testing complex enterprise applications, healthcare technology, claims, payments, utilization management, provider data, EDI, APIs, or other heavy integration workflows.
• Experience with automated API, UI, regression, and integration testing.
• Experience using AI-assisted development or testing tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, or comparable tools.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, test-management tools, CI/CD pipelines, observability platforms, and cloud-based application environments.
• Experience helping a QA organization mature toward a balanced automation and risk-based quality model.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day QA practice, test planning, execution, documentation, and release readiness.
• Ensure QA work begins as planned and communicate delays, blockers, data needs, or scope gaps immediately.
• Create transparency about testing progress, defects, risks, and release confidence.
• Coach QA team members on testing discipline, risk-based thinking, and accountability.
• Develop and maintain test strategies for features, integrations, defects, and platform changes.
• Collaborate with Product Owners early to define test scenarios, data needs, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure test coverage includes functional, integration, regression, negative, end-to-end, and workflow scenarios.
• Coordinate test data, environments, integrations, and dependencies for QA execution.
• Confirm end-to-end testability of critical workflows before business UAT.
• Apply risk-based testing to prioritize high-value scenarios under time or environment constraints.
• Lead defect triage with Product and Engineering, clarifying severity, priority, and business impact.
• Define QA exit criteria and ensure critical defects are closed before release.
• Provide objective quality recommendations for releases based on evidence and risk.
• Partner with QA Automation Engineers to increase reliable automated coverage without brittle tests.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate test-case creation, test-data design, automation development, and quality analysis while keeping human review.
