Job summary

YMCA of San Diego is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist Lead to supervise the QA team, uphold program quality, ensure contract deliverables, and maintain compliance with CA state contracts. You will develop procedures and oversee data accuracy and reporting.

The role includes staff training and group facilitation, monitoring audits, and coordinating training across multiple offices in San Diego County. A hybrid schedule combines remote work within the region with in-person trainings at Chula

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four years’ equivalent related experience required.
• Minimum six years of work experience with four years in contract compliance within a community-based organization.
• Two years of program coordination in subsidy childcare or similar state/local funded programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff in managing contract deliverables, ensuring compliance and quality.
• Develop, implement, and refine trainings on regulations for new and existing staff.
• Monitor program quality to ensure compliance with state, county, and agency regulations.
• Create SOPs, memorandums, and training materials interpreting complex rules.
• Coordinate departmental trainings on procedures, policies, and data systems.
• Maintain audit results and develop improvement plans.
• Lead software product testing and data collection form development.
• Guide the QA team in data entry and reporting for program statistics.
