Job summary

First Advantage, a leading provider of background screening solutions, is seeking an Automation QA Engineer for a 100% remote role based in Mexico. You will design and implement automated testing across UI and API layers, ensuring features are delivered with robust coverage and high quality.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to CI/CD, and help advance automation practices within an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in UI & API Automation.
• 3-5 years of experience in QA and Agile Practices.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into automated test coverage.
• Design, build, maintain, and optimize automated test frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing.
• Ensure features ship with automated tests and high quality for reliable deployments.
• Develop knowledge of the company solutions and improve automation strategies and tools.
• Support QA processes, tool evaluations, and proof-of-concepts for automation best practices.
• Support manual and UAT efforts when needed and align with QA standards.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and CI/CD practices.
