Job summary

Care Access is hiring a QA Engineer to ensure quality, reliability, and performance of software for clinical research and pre-screening operations. You will design and implement end-to-end automation with Playwright, perform manual testing on complex user flows, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines for fast feedback.

You’ll collaborate across product and engineering teams in a fast-paced environment, triage defects with clear reproduction steps, and help advance QA practices and standards to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in software QA with meaningful test automation.
• Strong testing instincts and ability to balance automation with manual testing.
• Experience integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines and APIs testing.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with engineers and PMs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated end-to-end test suites using Playwright across web and API surfaces.
• Perform exploratory and structured manual testing on complex user flows and edge cases.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable feedback on PRs.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to shift quality left and test alongside features.
• Triage, reproduce, and document bugs with clear steps and context.
• Contribute to QA processes, standards, and tooling across the engineering org.
• Participate in test planning, sprints, and release readiness reviews.
