Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to validate software, hardware, features, and integrated solutions across the Bently Nevada portfolio. You will develop robust test strategies, automate testing processes, and contribute to continuous product improvement.

In an Agile environment, collaborate with developers, product owners, and fellow QA engineers to ensure high quality and reliable releases.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
Understanding of Quality Assurance Engineering principles and methodologies.
Experience with manual and automated testing practices (academic or professional).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.
Ability to prioritize work based on business and customer needs.

Responsibilities

Own and execute small to medium-sized quality engineering assignments.
Develop and maintain automated test suites for acceptance, functional, regression, performance, and reliability testing.
Execute manual and automated testing activities across software, hardware, and integrated system environments.
Review requirements and collaborate with feature owners to develop comprehensive test plans and strategies.
Create end-to-end test cases based on business requirements and domain expertise.
Participate in exploratory testing, feature validation, bug bashes, and release readiness activities.
Set up and configure hardware and software test environments.
Support CI pipelines by integrating automated testing into development workflows.
