Cognitive Medical Systems Inc is hiring a Software Development Test Engineer for a 100% remote role in the US. The engineer will test web and mobile apps across the SDLC, with strong automation, API testing, and accessibility requirements. The role requires 5+ years in QA, experience with Groovy/Java, REST APIs, SQL, and 508 accessibility testing. Willingness to perform after-hours on-call support is needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software QA experience including manual and automated testing.
• Proficiency in automation scripting languages such as Groovy and Java.
• Experience testing web and mobile apps; REST API testing; SQL validation.
• Familiarity with accessibility testing tools and standards (508).
• Strong Agile/SDLC understanding; collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Create and maintain automated test suites and test cases.
• Manually and automatically test REST APIs and UIs.
• Develop and enhance test-automation frameworks in Katalon; Groovy/Java.
• Use AI Copilot to assist automation test creation.
• Develop test plans and execute web/mobile test cycles.
• Perform end-to-end testing including accessibility and security checks.
• Collaborate with developers and PMs to define acceptance criteria.
• Track defects with Jira; participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Ensure testing aligns with security and organizational standards.
