Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join the BASIS program team in a remote role. The engineer will develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts across the full deployment pipeline, supporting Agile sprints and a Government-managed DevSecOps pipeline.

Qualifications

• Experience in software quality assurance, test automation, or software testing roles.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and DevSecOps principles.
• Experience writing automated test scripts in Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Python, Java, or equivalent.
• Understanding of the software testing lifecycle including unit, integration, regression, and UAT.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts across the full deployment pipeline.
• Support TDD by writing test cases prior to code development with developers.
• Triage defects in JIRA and report status to teams and stakeholders.
• Contribute to RTMs, test plans, and documentation per DoD and program standards.
