Job summary

Outside Interactive, Inc. in the United States seeks an experienced QA automation engineer to own the test automation strategy for MapMyRun, MapMyWalk, MapMyRide, and other fitness apps.

You will design frameworks, build coverage, and wire tests into CI/CD pipelines for rapid, confident shipping. You’ll join a lean, AI-augmented team, work with engineers, product, design, and growth marketing, and tackle GPS, GPX, and sensor-mocking tests across iOS, Android, and web using Playwright/Cypress,

Qualifications

• 4+ years in software quality assurance
• 2+ years building test automation
• Experience with web/mobile automation tools
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines
• API testing in code

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks for web and mobile apps
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and maintain health of suites
• Build automated API test coverage for services powering apps
• Develop strategies for testing location-based features (GPS, GPX, sensors)
• Use AI tools to accelerate test authoring and maintenance
• Perform targeted exploratory and regression testing on new features
• Document defects with clear reproduction steps
• Collaborate with engineers, product, and design to embed testability
• Participate in sprint planning and QA estimation
