Job summary

OmniOn Power Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to audit engineering specifications and packages, ensuring accuracy, completeness and adherence to customer standards.

You will track Cost of Quality across quotation, engineering, execution and material, and support internal surveillance audits with a focus on continuous improvement. Reporting to the Services Quality Leader, this role is 100% remote and requires strong Excel/SharePoint skills, cost of quality tracking, and experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed.
• 5 years of telecom industry experience (DC power installation/engineering, toll/fiber installation, PM, etc.).
• Experience auditing engineering documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Working knowledge of TL9000/ISO 9001 concepts and internal auditing.

Responsibilities

• Audit engineering specifications for accuracy, completeness and adherence to standards.
• Audit engineering packages to verify compliance with customer requirements and internal procedures.
• Audit Methods of Procedure and End of Job packages for safety and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure version control and alignment between requirements, docs, and service deliverables.
• Track Cost of Quality metrics and drive corrective actions with teams.
• Identify gaps and nonconformities; coordinate corrective actions with cross-functional groups.
• Support TL 9000 metric collection and reporting to stakeholders.
• Prepare audit checklists, gather evidence, and track corrective actions to closure.
• Prepare audit summaries, trend analyses, and dashboards for process improvement.
• Maintain audit records and evidence per retention, confidentiality, and customer requirements.
