Job summary

OmniOn Power Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to audit engineering specs and packages, ensure accuracy, and track Cost of Quality.

This role reports to the Services Quality Leader and is 100% remote for candidates in the United States. The successful candidate will audit procedures, maintain version control, and drive corrective actions across engineering, QA, and operations to reduce defects and improve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school diploma or GED.
• 5 years of experience in telecom industry requirements including but not limited to DC power installation/engineering, toll/fiber installation, project management.
• Experience auditing engineering documentation (specifications, drawings, BOMs, and/or engineering change documentation).
• Working knowledge of quality management systems and audit practices (e.g., TL9000/ISO 9001 concepts).
• Ability to interpret customer requirements, standards, and contractual engineering deliverables.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and SharePoint for tracker maintenance and Cost of Quality calculations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to document clear audit evidence.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Audit engineering specifications for accuracy and adherence to customer standards; document findings and drive corrective action.
• Audit engineering packages (drawings, BOMs, and records) for compliance with customer requirements.
• Audit Methods of Procedure and End of Job packages to ensure safe installation and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure version control and configuration alignment between customer requirements and service deliverables.
• Track cost of poor-quality metrics and communicate to teams to reduce quality costs and improve satisfaction.
• Identify gaps and nonconformities; initiate corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Support TL 9000 metric collection, validation, and reporting for applicable service categories.
• Prepare audit checklists and evidence; conduct interviews and track corrective actions to closure.
• Prepare audit summaries, trend analyses, and dashboards; communicate recurring issues and improvements.
• Maintain audit records and evidence in line with retention, confidentiality, and customer requirements.
