The Walt Disney Company is seeking a Principal Software Engineer for the Rights & Accounting team within Content Platforms. You will lead quality engineering and automated regression, establish standards, and mentor engineers to improve scalability, reliability, and maintainability of our platforms.

You will drive the regression test automation program from a pilot application across teams, shaping testing strategy, baselines, and CI/CD quality gates to ensure high‑quality software delivery for

10+ years of professional software engineering experience with test automation and quality in large‑scale cloud systems.
Proven track record leading large, cross‑team engineering efforts with measurable outcomes.
Deep expertise in test automation across unit, API/contract, integration, and end‑to‑end testing.
Experience diagnosing and eliminating test flakiness and non‑determinism.

Own and drive quality engineering and automated regression across Rights & Accounting.
Define measurable baselines for test coverage, stability, and suite health.
Stabilize and optimize automated test suites, reduce flakiness and execution time.
