Job summary

5V Video is seeking a mid-level QA Engineer to ensure high-quality experiences across connected TV and mobile apps. This fully remote role lets you work from anywhere in the US and focuses on manual and exploratory testing, with opportunities to grow automation coverage.

You'll collaborate with developers, product managers and designers, design test plans, execute tests, and log defects with clear priorities. Ideal for 3–6 years in media streaming QA seeking a remote, full-time position.

Qualifications

3–6 years of QA experience in software testing.
Experience with CTV and mobile app testing across multiple devices.
Familiarity with test automation tools and bug tracking.

Responsibilities

Execute manual and exploratory testing for CTV and mobile apps across devices.
Design and maintain detailed test plans, cases, and automated scripts for regression and smoke testing.
Collaborate with developers, PMs and designers to clarify requirements and edge cases.
Track defects and communicate impact and priority clearly.
Validate builds across platforms and OS versions.
Assist with test environment setup and device lab maintenance.
Expand automation coverage and contribute to process improvements.
