Job summary

Veilant, through its System High subsidiary, is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join a lean product team. You will test new software capabilities, identify defects, and work closely with developers and the Product Owner to ensure quality before release.

This hands-on role emphasizes ownership, critical thinking, and collaboration in a remote, Agile environment, with a strong focus on modern software development practices and cybersecurity awareness.

Qualifications

• Hands-on software quality assurance or software testing experience in professional environments.
• Experience performing manual and functional software testing.
• Experience creating or executing test cases and documenting defects.
• Understanding of defect identification, validation, retesting, and regression testing.
• Familiarity with Git and Git-based development workflows.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD concepts and pipelines.
• Ability to interpret requirements, user stories, workflows, and expected application's behavior.
• Ability to communicate defects clearly and collaborate with developers.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on manual and functional testing of new and updated software capabilities.
• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases and scenarios based on requirements and user stories.
• Test functionality incrementally throughout development and perform regression testing before release.
• Identify defects and usability issues and clearly communicate findings.
• Validate fixes and ensure changes don't introduce new issues.
• Review automated and unit-test coverage from QA perspective.
