Job summary

atVenu, Inc. is seeking an Intermediate QA Analyst to join our growing QA team. You will design, execute and maintain test cases for functional, regression, and smoke validation, working with live-event software to ensure reliability and user satisfaction.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional peers, report defects, and help advance QA initiatives. Remote options are available, with preference for candidates based locally in Calgary.

Qualifications

• Completed QA certification or a relevant diploma or degree.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in a QA role.
• Ability to ask questions and synthesize information to ensure test cases are relevant.
• Highly analytical with balanced attention to detail and testing rigor.
• Collaborative and effective team player across functions.
• Strong communication skills and clear feedback to developers and product managers.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, update, review, maintain and execute structured test cases for applications and document bugs.
• Coordinate testing summary and execution results.
• Identify testing opportunities and provide feedback.
• Perform defect reporting and management.
• Apply risk management practices to testing.
• Document test cases for automation.
• Participate in release management.
• Support QA team initiatives and promote best practices.
• Work with project teams to ensure product usability and customer readiness.
• Document features and workflows.
