Remote QA Analyst: End-to-End Testing Leader

Job summary

IPS Technology Services is seeking a QA Analyst for a remote, long-term contract. You will plan, design, and execute tests to ensure coverage across multiple projects, acting as a subject matter expert on testing processes.

Collaboration with BSA and Development teams to validate requirements, develop test data, run manual and automated tests, document results, and support UAT and production readiness throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Plan, integrate, create test cases and scripts, and execute tests to ensure proper coverage.
• Schedules and leads test deliverables review sessions as needed.
• Contribute across multiple projects and act as a subject matter expert for a project/system.
• Collaborate with BSA and Development to ensure requirements are testable.
• Develop and maintain test data, data validation, and end-to-end flows.
• Perform manual and/or automated testing and report results.
• Run database queries to support data validation in tests.
• Update test cases for approved changes.
• Work with BSAs and developers on defect analysis and triage.
• Assign defect severity and manage defects through the project.
• Create test status reports per guidelines.
• Create test results and summaries to ensure readiness for production.
• Create and facilitate review of the Test Strategy with the team.
• Identify quality issues and escalate promptly.
• Collect testing sign-off from participants across impacted teams.
• Ensure manual, regression, automation and performance testing are completed.
• Collaborate with Project Test Lead to estimate efforts.
• Support UAT efforts with the project team.
• Maintain regression test bed to meet changes.
• Participate in off-hour production releases.
• Support warranty period as needed.
• Work under moderate supervision with some independence.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members.
• Understand and follow project lifecycle methodology.
