Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an experienced QA Analyst to join a remote team delivering reliable software. The role combines hands-on manual testing with automation to strengthen quality across the SDLC.

You will influence testing practices, automation frameworks, and engineering standards while collaborating with engineers and cross-functional teams in a distributed environment. You will help identify issues early, improve regression coverage, and advocate for quality at every stage of development.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional QA testing experience including manual and automated testing.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and defect-tracking tools.
• Hands-on automated test development in Java or Python.
• Experience with Appium or Selenium and code-first automation frameworks.
• Ability to create test strategies, plans and detailed test cases.
• Proven ability to communicate quality risks and drive improvements.
• Experience in startup or agile environments with tight delivery cycles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
• Self-directed and comfortable owning QA activities in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute comprehensive test cases across functional, regression, integration, and user-focused scenarios.
• Develop and maintain automated regression tests and QA tooling.
• Contribute to QA methodologies and testing process improvements.
• Create and maintain test strategies, plans and detailed test cases.
• Identify, document, track and communicate defects using industry-standard tools.
• Collaborate with engineers to investigate issues and validate fixes.
• Advocate for software quality and strong user experience throughout development.
• Improve automation coverage and testing efficiency for frequent releases.
• Collaborate with distributed teams in a fast-paced product environment.
• Contribute to scalable QA practices for evolving digital products.
