Job summary

SMASH invites experienced engineers to join a remote role working with a US company. You will drive custom technical solutions end‑to‑end in the SDLC using Python, SQL and RESTful APIs, with strong emphasis on testing and code quality.

The position blends customer interactions with hands‑on development, requiring clear specifications and reliable, well‑tested outcomes. Ideal candidates communicate effectively, translate business needs into technical deliverables, and own projects from design

Qualifications

Proficient in Python and RESTful API development.
Experience with SQL and JSON data handling.
Strong TDD and unit testing discipline required.

Responsibilities

Own custom technical projects from requirements gathering through development, testing, deployment, and delivery.
Act as an end-to-end Technical Project Manager for solutions across the full SDLC.
Engage directly with customers to understand business and technical requirements.
Translate customer requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications.
Develop and maintain integrations using RESTful APIs and HTTP-based services.
Develop Python-based solutions using pandas and requests.
