Job summary

ESPO Corporation is seeking an experienced Pursuit Planner/Schedule Support for its Power Generation Project Controls team in Kansas City. This role emphasizes early‑stage front‑end schedule development using historical data and reliable assumptions to support pursuit proposals.

You will collaborate with preconstruction, engineering, and project leadership to craft schedules, manpower forecasts, and cash flow projections, while mentoring execution schedulers and ensuring standard frameworks are

Qualifications

8–12 years of project planning and scheduling experience in heavy industrial EPC roles.
Field experience on power plant construction is preferred to reflect real execution.
Proficiency with Primavera P6 and Excel for complex scheduling and reporting.

Responsibilities

Create early‑stage schedules and front‑end planning assumptions for pursuit efforts.
Develop Level 1 proposal schedules and manpower forecasts for power projects.
Collaborate with proposal, preconstruction, and engineering leads to set parameters and strategies.
Model high‑level manpower histograms and indicative cash flow for proposals.
Lead capacity planning improvements and integrate data with the Power BI team.
Support transition of pursuit schedules to Level 3 EPC/engineering/procurement timelines; mentor execution schedulers.
Assist IPPM preparation, facilitation, and structure.
Perform schedule QA, identify optimization opportunities, and mitigate risks.
Mentor and train schedulers in P6 methods and critical path reasoning.
