Job summary

ESPO Corporation is seeking a Project Controls Manager for a 12 month contract in Kansas City, MO. The role leads a project controls department, overseeing cost control, scheduling, forecasting, and reporting for multiple large projects.

You will develop data warehouses for program controls, manage a team, and coordinate with PM and accounting. Strong CPM/EVM experience and Oracle Primavera P6 are preferred, with emphasis on meticulous reporting and client relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field with 7 years direct project controls experience.
• Experience with critical path scheduling, project cost management, estimating and document control is required.
• Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 and Earned Value Management systems is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and management of project controls reporting for multiple projects.
• Lead the project controls team recruitment, development, training and performance review.
• Develop and implement project execution plans and schedules.
• Interface with Project Management and Accounting to review costs and support audits.
