Job summary

Tru7 Group is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join its remote finance team. The role involves owning accounts payable processes, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and payments run on time across our UK-operations led by a South Africa-based team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable, an AAT qualification (or equivalent), and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable.
• AAT qualification (or equivalent) preferred.
• Experience with Sage or other UK accounting software.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Reliable home office with fibre internet connection and ability to work UK hours.

Responsibilities

• Process high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and allocate costs to the correct contracts and cost centres.
• Liaise with Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers and operational teams regarding invoice approvals.
• Maintain supplier accounts and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Prepare weekly and monthly payment runs for approval.
