Job summary

One World Global Services in the United States is seeking experienced Punjabi interpreters for on-demand, per-minute or fixed-rate work. The role is fully remote and can be filled as full-time or part-time, with immediate onboarding after onboarding processes are completed.

Responsibilities include handling calls professionally, mastering healthcare vocabulary, undergoing internal training, and reporting to the team leader. Fluency in English and Punjabi is required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency/bilingual/native level of English and target language.
• 1+ years of interpreting experience (Desirable).
• High emotional intelligence and tolerance of diverse cultures.
• High level of communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls professionally, acting according to the Interpreter’s code of conduct.
• Be aware of the specific vocabulary of the healthcare and medical industry.
• Go into internal professional training.
• Communicate and report to your team leader.
