One World Global Services is seeking experienced Punjabi-English interpreters for fully remote work in the United States. The role offers flexible full-time or part-time options, with onboarding followed by a clear schedule and monthly payments.

You will handle calls professionally, use healthcare vocabulary, and participate in internal training. Strong English proficiency and bilingual skills are essential, with at least 1 year of interpreting experience and high emotional intelligence.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English and the target language (Punjabi).
• 1+ years of interpreting experience desirable.
• Strong communication, listening, note-taking and memory skills.
• High emotional intelligence and cultural tolerance.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls professionally, following the interpreter’s code of conduct.
• Be mindful of healthcare and medical vocabulary relevant to assignments.
• Participate in internal professional training.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answer calls professionally, acting according to the Interpreter’s code of conduct.
• Be aware of the specific vocabulary of the industry the interpreter works with (healthcare and medical one, specifically).
• Go into internal professional training.
• Communicate and report to your team leader.

YOUR BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:

• Proficiency/Bilingual/Native level of English and target language.
• 1+ years of interpreting experience (Desirable).
• High emotional intelligence and tolerance of diverse cultures.
• High level of communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.
