Job summary

Thriveworks is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide telemedicine care to clients in Alaska. The role involves evaluating and treating patients aged 14 and up, with a focus on ADHD and other mental health conditions, while adhering to clinical guidelines.

Requires active PMHNP board certification, state licensing, and prescriptive authority. Part-time schedule (15–20 hours/week) with remote work and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification.
• Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state.
• Understanding of AdvancedMD EMR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations via telemedicine.
• Treat clients aged 14 and up.
• Prescribe medications as needed to reduce symptoms.
• Create and collaborate on care plans with clients.
• Complete and administer paperwork and assessment tools.
• Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines.
• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff.
