Job summary

Thriveworks is seeking a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide remote telemedicine care in California, focusing on adults and adolescents with mental health conditions. Board-certified PMHNP with active prescriptive authority is required, with at least 1 year of psychiatry experience preferred.

The role offers a fee-for-service W2 arrangement with a compensation range of $171,000–$246,000 per year, based on 25–35 clinical hours weekly, plus a $7,500 ramp/sign-on

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with Board Certification.
• Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the practicing state.
• 3 years of experience is a plus; 1 year of psychiatry practice is required.
• Clinicians must be licensed and living in the state in which they will be practicing.

Responsibilities

• Make Psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients in an ongoing telemedicine capacity
• Willingness to treat 12 years old and up
• Prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms, as needed
• Create and collaborate with clients on care plans
• Complete and/or administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools for clients
• Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines
• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs, and services at the various sites
