Job summary
Thriveworks is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The role involves conducting psychiatric assessments for adolescents and adults, providing telemedicine options, and prescribing medications as needed.
You will collaborate on care plans and follow Thriveworks' clinical guidelines. The ideal candidate holds PMHNP board certification, a Master’s in Nursing with prescriptive authority, and has 1+ year in psychiatry.
Qualifications
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina.
- PMHNP Board Certification required.
- Master’s in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state.
- Understanding of AdvancedMD EMR is a plus.
- Three years of experience is a plus; 1 year of psychiatry practice is required.
Responsibilities
- Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients.
- Treat clients aged 14 and up.
- Prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms as needed.
- Create and collaborate on care plans with clients.
- Complete and administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools.
- Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines.
- Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs, and services.
