Thriveworks currently seeks a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for Williamsburg, VA. This Fee for Service (W2) position supports both in-person and telemedicine care for a diverse client base, with a compensation range of $130,000–$187,000 per year based on 25–35 clinical hours weekly.

The role requires Virginia licensure, board certification, and an MSN with prescriptive authority, plus ADHD standards training and no client quotas.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification.
• Master’s in Nursing with active prescriptive authority required.
• Three years of experience is a plus; 1 year of psychiatry required.
• Must be licensed to practice in the state of Virginia.
• In-house ADHD treatment standards training with certification exam is required.

Responsibilities

• Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations in-person and via telemedicine.
• Treat clients aged 14 and up.
• Prescribe medications to reduce mental health symptoms as needed.
• Create and collaborate on care plans with clients.
• Complete relevant paperwork and assessment tools.
• Adhere to Thriveworks Clinical Practice Guidelines.
• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff as needed.
