Job summary

Thriveworks is seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in Virginia for a fully remote telemedicine role. Part-time (15–20 hours/week) with a compensation range of $65,000–$94,000 per year, W2 arrangement; license in-state required.

You will perform psychiatric assessments, prescribe medications as appropriate, develop care plans, and collaborate with regional staff while adhering to clinical guidelines across a diverse client base.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification.
• Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the practicing state.
• 1 year of psychiatry practice required; 3 years is a plus.
• Licensed and living in the state of practice.
• Experience with AdvancedMD EMR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations via telemedicine.
• Treat clients age 14+ and prescribe medications as needed.
• Create and collaborate on care plans with clients.
• Complete appropriate paperwork and assessment tools.
• Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines.
• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff as needed.
