Job summary

Tekgence Inc. seeks a PSA Engineer – DTS to administer and optimize EMS systems from remote locations in Edison, NJ. You will patch, configure, tune, and ensure security of the EMS environment across multiple platforms, including GE PowerOn Reliance XA21 and AEMS.

The role requires experience with DTS, RTS/IED simulations, and database querying for diagnostics. Strong scripting (C, C++, Perl, Shell) and log analysis skills are essential, as is the ability to fix live systems and validate DTS

Qualifications

• 5+ years in power system applications and DTS/EMS environments.
• Experience with live system fixes and patch deployment.
• Proficient in C/C++, Perl or shell scripting for integration tasks.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize EMS systems with patching and config tuning.
• Conduct model validation and defect fixing for DTS environments.
• Perform code reviews, deployments, testing and monitoring of patches.
• Handle logs, debug files and data modeling for EMS platforms.
• Restore failed services on EMS systems and coordinate fixes.
