Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Provider Relations Specialist to support the World Trade Center Health Program (WTCHP) in the New York Metropolitan Area.

The role focuses on CCE/provider relationships, intake, coordination, communication, and follow-through to ensure providers are identified, onboarded, and supported. You will work across Provider Data, Credentialing, Contracting/Recruitment, Claims, and other teams, translating CCE needs into actionable Provider

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 3+ years of provider relations, provider services, healthcare operations, or related healthcare experience.
• Experience working with provider organizations, hospitals, or clinicians preferred.
• Knowledge of provider enrollment, credentialing, data, contracting, and claims processes.
• Strong relationship-management, communication, presentation, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary Provider Services point of contact for assigned CCEs, building strong relationships and understanding network needs.
• Conduct outreach with CCE representatives to identify provider concerns, access issues, and service improvement opportunities.
• Support CCE provider nominations and referrals, ensuring documentation and routing through affiliation and recruitment processes.
• Coordinate with Provider Network/Contracting staff to identify practitioners, facilities, or HDOs needed for member access or continuity of care.
• Provide CCEs with status updates on nominations, affiliation, onboarding, and other activities.
• Facilitate communication between CCEs and Provider Services for cross-functional issues requiring research.
• Assist participating providers and HDOs with WTCHP requirements, portal use, and enrollment processes.
• Educate providers and CCEs on WTCHP processes, policies, workflows, and changes affecting participation.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation activities for newly affiliated organizations and practitioners.
• Research and resolve escalated provider issues beyond first-call resolution and systemic concerns.
