Job summary

Wellthy is seeking a Provider Network Specialist to own the backup care network on the supply side. You’ll source, vet, and onboard providers in markets where clients need coverage, negotiate terms, and maintain strong partner relationships to ensure families always have somewhere to turn.

This remote role reports to the VP of Operations, Backup Care, and requires 2+ years in recruitment or partnerships, with excellent communication and data-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in recruitment, vendor management, partnerships, sales, or customer service with a track record of hitting targets.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree; 3 years of relevant experience in place of an applicable degree).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain a program clearly and concisely.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• General comfort pulling data, generating reports, and using basic productivity software (GSuite, Slack, spreadsheets).

Responsibilities

• Source and prioritize providers in markets where client families need coverage.
• Run outreach to prospective providers and onboard them into the network.
• Vet providers against quality standards using licensing data and reviews.
• Negotiate rates and terms suitable for providers and Wellthy.
• Onboard providers for live bookings and coordinate payments.
• Maintain ongoing relationships and support providers in the network.
• Track market coverage, fill rate, and identify gaps in supply.
• Collaborate with operations, billing, and legal to keep contracts and onboarding moving.
