Job summary

Altea Healthcare is seeking a Provider Enrollment Specialist to join our remote revenue cycle team. You will coordinate enrollment and credentialing for providers across Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers, ensuring timely completion and compliance.

You will manage provider records, communicate with payers, track enrollment statuses, and collaborate with billing to support accurate claims processing in post-acute care settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in provider enrollment, credentialing, or revenue cycle management in healthcare.
• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer enrollment processes.
• Proficient with provider enrollment/credentialing software and MS Office.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Enrollment Management: Complete and submit provider enrollment applications to Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial carriers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Credentialing Coordination: Assist in gathering documentation for credentialing and re-credentialing with payers.
• Database Maintenance: Maintain provider enrollment records, track payer updates and credentialing statuses.
• Payer Communication: Serve as liaison between providers and payer networks to resolve enrollment issues.
• Compliance: Ensure enrollment and credentialing processes comply with federal, state, and payer rules.
• Provider Support: Be the point of contact for enrollment status and credentialing inquiries.
• Follow-Up: Regularly follow up with payers to confirm status and expedite approvals.
• Reporting: Provide management with status updates and reports on enrollments.
• Collaborative Efforts: Work with billing/revenue cycle teams to ensure full enrollment and credentialing.
